Roll Form Application tooling sets the components into the flat strip prior to roll forming. The tooling can be self-contained or operate within a customer's press. Typically the tooling installs the components from the top down. The tooling has strip edge cam rollers and keepers to adjust the traverse position of the components within the stip. The tooling also has longitudinal datum blocks to set the pitch between the component install tooling and the pre-pierce die. Where applicable the tooling includes component setting force control and positive slug eject. Components are fed into the tooling from elevated gravity feeders or air blow feeders via UHMW flex chutes to the tooling.
